Responsibilities:

Responsible for continuous monitoring of the flying programme and escalation to the Senior on Duty, Duty Manager or Outstation of delays, special requirements or general allocations.

Functional Duties:
a) Monitor in AIMS Aircraft Movement Control/Redwatch at all times to ensure all OUT/IN
times are updated promptly.
b) Inform the NDM if a flight is on the ground more than 10 minutes past its
scheduled/estimated departure time.
c) Suggest aircraft swaps to NDM to minimize the (potential) delay by considering
domestic and international Bay/Gates.
d) Closely liaise with Apron Controller, when aircraft swaps are initiated and ensure all
concerns (e.g. stations, operations controllers, maa_irops…) are informed.
e) Ensure all changes including Diversion, Air, and Ground returns are created in AIMS
Aircraft Movement Control with the correct timings and reflected in Redwatch, and
crewing is informed.
f) Ensure ADHOC, Delivery, Endorsement, Training, Positioning/Ferry flights are created
in the system and assigned REGOs.
g) Monitor the daily flying program with the goal of on-time operations (0-15 minutes) for
all.
h) Update and maintain related flight information including registration changes, timings,
etc.
i) Plan, document and liaise with required stakeholders for recovery plans or potential
delay reduction strategies for the daily flying program.
j) Update appropriate crew control teams of any delays exceeding 30 minutes, or as
specifically requested on the day of operation.
k) Escalate to the Senior staff on Duty any significant delays, flight data anomalies or
likely future impacts known based on daily flying program status.
l) Review consequential delay reasons and links between flights to ensure accurate
representation to ensure appropriate mitigating action can be taken.

  • Detailed oriented and meticulous, Able to perform under pressure in a challenging/demanding environment.
  • Good time management, effective communication skills and ability to provide direction to a team.
  • Ability to make critical decision making.
  • Must be able to work in a 24/7 shift rotation environment.

Minimum working experience:

Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in airline, airport or ground handling operational environment.

Education:

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Airline Operations/Airport management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel management, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.

Professional qualifications:

  • Understanding aircraft and crew requirements would be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.

Training required for the position (if any):

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google software.
  • Familiar with AIMs systems will be added advantages.
