DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Financial Transactions and Recordkeeping
· Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including invoices, payments, and collections.
· Verify and post transaction entries to accounting software (D365), ensuring accuracy.
· Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
· Monitor outstanding balances, manage aging reports, and follow up on overdue payments.
2. Reconciliation and Financial Reporting
· Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivables, and accounts payables to ensure all financial data is accurate.
· Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
· Generate reports on financial performance, variance analysis, and KPIs for review by senior management.
3. General Ledger Management
· Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate coding and posting of entries.
· Prepare and post journal entries for adjustments, accruals, and reclassifications.
· Assist in the preparation of trial balances and conduct month-end and year-end close processes
.4. Compliance and Documentation
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards (MPERS), and regulatory requirements.
· Prepare necessary documentation for audits and assist auditors (internal and external) in providing required information.
· Manage tax compliance activities, including filing and preparing tax returns as required.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting Support
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering relevant financial information.
· Track budget performance and variances, preparing analysis and reporting for management.
· Support in developing financial models and projections based on business requirements.
6. Process Improvement and System Support
· Identify areas for process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency.
· Support in implementing accounting software updates, if applicable.
· Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate financial processes across the organization.
7. Cross-functional Support and Communication
· Liaise with other departments, suppliers, customers, auditors, and tax agents to resolve finance-related queries.
· Support the finance department in special projects, analyses, and presentations as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
§ 1-3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role is ideal, but fresh graduates with strong academic performance and accounting skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
