Reporting to the Operation/ Shipping Manager, this role will be responsible for all activities for the assigned entities.
Responsibilities:
- Shipment Coordination:
- Prepare and process shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers (courier companies, freight forwarders) to arrange for the timely dispatch of shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are available for shipping.
- Schedule shipments and track deliveries.
- Logistics and Delivery Management:
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays in delivery.
- Maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Ensure that shipments comply with international and local shipping regulations.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding shipping status.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all necessary documents are prepared for customs clearance.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information, invoices, and delivery confirmations.
- Prepare and submit reports on shipping activity, costs, and performance.
- Inventory Management:
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper stock levels for shipping.
- Assist with stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and help resolve discrepancies.
- Problem Resolution:
- Address any customer complaints or issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries.
- Identify ways to improve shipping processes and reduce costs or delays.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipping operations.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders regarding shipping updates.
- SAP transaction of movement goods and POD.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- SAP skills
- Strong understanding of shipping and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs regulations, and international shipping.
- Ability to ensure that all shipping documents are accurate and up to date.
- Careful monitoring of shipment status and the ability to spot discrepancies early.
- Capable of managing multiple shipments at once and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
