Job Summary The Technical Specialist - Field Service will be responsible for providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support for on-site construction projects. This role involves ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment, systems, and materials to meet project specifications and safety standards. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Technical Support: o Provide on-site technical support to construction teams for the setup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. o Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize project downtime. • Equipment & System Maintenance: o Inspect, calibrate, and maintain construction tools, machinery, and control systems to ensure optimal performance. o Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs. • Project Coordination: o Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that technical solutions align with project timelines and quality requirements. o Provide technical input during project planning and execution phases. • Quality Assurance: o Conduct quality checks on installations and materials to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards. o Document technical inspections and provide reports on project progress and issues. • Training & Documentation: o Train site personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and systems. o Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including service manuals and reports. • Health, Safety & Compliance: o Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. o Identify and mitigate potential safety risks related to technical operations. ________________________________________ Requirements • Education: o Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related technical field. • Experience: o Minimum of 15 years of experience in site roles within the construction industry. o Hands-on experience with construction equipment and control systems. • Technical Skills: o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues. o Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and schematics. o Familiarity with diagnostic tools and maintenance procedures. • Soft Skills: o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Other Requirements: o Willingness to travel and work on-site at construction locations. o Possession of relevant certifications (if applicable).
