Production Planner

Job Description: - Plan overall progress overview, monitoring of production actual status, sequencing and/or rescheduling. - Prepare, coordinate and monitor production schedules and workflow to ensure on-time delivery of shipments based on customers’ requirements or targeted timeline and in accordance with production plan. - Issue production work order. - Monitor movement of components or raw materials, review production schedules and advise production team accordingly. - Monitor material shortages, expedite, and ensure material availability to support production plan. - Implement back up plan and corrective action to remove production constrain by communicating with all departments. - Collaborate across departments to meet production requirements effectively and provide feedback or updates on any issues which may potentially affect delivery date. - Prepare status report for weekly completion, backlog, and output. - Review job sheets to determine types, quantities, and proposed material resources to maximize production efficiency. - Update order progress from initial process to quality completion to meet production deadline. - Liaise with logistic team to provide timely transportation and goods upon production completion. - Perform other duties assigned as and when required. Requirements: - Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Production Management or other related background. - Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in Electronic Manufacturing Services environment. Fresh grads are encouraged to apply too. - A good level of Microsoft Office and the ability to create datasheets and other document types. - Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia both orally and in writing. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is an added advantage. - A motivated person with strong work ethics and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Demonstrate application of knowledge and understanding of production planning and quality control principles. - Strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and comprehensive coordination ability. - Strategic thinker, analytical and continuous improvement mind-set. - Knowledge and understanding in ISO 9001:2015. - Able to adapt quickly to changes in daily work plans and unplanned issues, maintaining a focus on productivity without compromising safety or quality. - Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.
