The Facilities Engineering leader will lead and oversee all aspects of facilities management, engineering operations, and infrastructure development for a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Facilities Management:
- Develop and execute long-term strategies for campus functionality, infrastructure, and sustainability to support manufacturing operations.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of facilities, including production areas, office spaces, and utility systems.
- Engineering Operations:
- Ensure optimal performance of all critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, water, and environmental systems.
- Lead engineering design and implementation for new construction, renovations, and equipment installations.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and building regulations, including ISO14001, DOE, DOSH, SPAN, and other applicable standards.
- Oversee audits, certifications, and inspections to maintain adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Energy Management & Sustainability:
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs to improve efficiency and reduce the environmental footprint.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators for energy usage and environmental impact.
- Budget & Financial Oversight:
- Manage budgets for facilities operations, projects, and maintenance, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
- Lead tender processes for large-scale projects, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and project delivery.
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and facilities staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop training programs to enhance the technical and professional skills of the team.
- Project Management:
- Oversee large-scale facilities projects, including new construction, facility expansion, and equipment upgrades, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals and specifications are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on facilities-related matters.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, EHS, and supply chain, to align facilities operations with organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in facilities and engineering management, with a strong background in electronics manufacturing.
Key Skills & Expertise:
- Campus Functionality & Compliance: Expert in ensuring comfort, safety, efficiency, and sustainability of facilities while adhering to regulatory requirements (Bomba, SPAN, ST, DOE, DOSH, etc.).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in building designs, construction, codes, energy management, and sustainability programs.
- Certifications & Standards: Well-versed in ISO14001, ISO9000, QMS, and audit compliance.
- Budget & Cost Management: Skilled in budget preparation, cost management, and overseeing tender processes for multimillion-dollar projects.
- Leadership & Development: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, with strong engagement and people management skills.
- Regional Expertise: Extensive APAC experience managing leased sites and offices in multi-tenant buildings.
- Communication & Presentation: Exceptional written and oral communication, adept at interacting with senior leadership, architects, and consultants. A results-driven professional with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering excellence in facilities management.

Pay: RM18,000.00 - RM28,000.00 per month
