Overview

We are seeking a Business Manager for Structural Integrity Solutions (SIS) to lead and expand our business in structural integrity management, focusing on offshore platforms, marine jetties, and offshore wind turbines. The selected candidate will be responsible for to lead this sector and drive its future growth.

Our three primary technologies in this sector are for the extension of the life and increases the strength of offshore structures by preventing marine growth (MGP), real-time structural health monitoring (SHM) system, and AI-powered structural analytics, predictive maintenance, and digital twin technologies to optimize asset integrity management or condition-based maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, business acumen, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive commercial expansion and implement our advanced technologies for asset integrity, life extension, and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Leadership & Strategy

§ Lead and expand the Structural Integrity Solutions (SIS) business, focusing on offshore platforms, marine jetties, and offshore wind structures.

§ Develop and execute strategic business plans to commercialize advanced and smart SIS solutions.

§ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.

§ Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and technical presentations.

2. Project & Operations Management

§ Oversee structural integrity projects, ensuring efficient execution, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

§ Manage client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.

§ Work closely with engineering teams, offshore asset owners, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with offshore integrity requirements.

§ Integrate Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) strategies to shift from traditional scheduled maintenance to predictive maintenance models.

3. Technical Leadership & Innovation

§ Provide expertise in structural analysis, risk-based inspection (RBI), condition-based maintenance (CBM), and digital asset integrity solutions.

§ Promote and implement SHM for real-time offshore structure monitoring and AI-driven analytics for predictive maintenance.

§ Utilize engineering software tools such as SACS, SESAM, and other relevant structural integrity assessment software.

§ Drive the adoption of data-driven engineering solutions, including digital twin technology, AI-powered predictive analytics, and real-time monitoring to improve asset performance.

4. People & Successor Development

§ Develop and mentor junior engineers and technical teams in structural integrity, SHM, and data-driven engineering.

§ Work closely with the leadership team to transition into a leadership role as a successor in the SIS sector.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience:

§ Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.

§ Minimum 10 years of experience in structural integrity, offshore engineering, or asset integrity management.

§ Proven expertise in inspection, analysis, and maintenance of offshore structures, marine jetties, or wind turbines.

Technical Skills:

§ Strong proficiency in structural analysis and integrity assessment of offshore and marine structures.

§ Experience with engineering software such as SACS, Sesam, or similar structural analysis tools.

§ Familiarity with structural integrity, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).

§ Knowledge of marine growth control technologies and their impact on offshore structural strength.

§ Experience with data-driven engineering solutions, including AI-powered predictive analytics, digital twins, and real-time monitoring technologies.

Business & Leadership Skills:

§ Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, client management, and strategic planning.

§ Ability to commercialize advanced structural integrity solutions for offshore asset life extension and optimization.

§ Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations and business proposals.

Soft Skills & Other Requirements:

§ Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (both written and spoken).

§ Strong ability to engage with clients, industry regulators, and internal teams effectively.

§ Leadership potential with a long-term commitment to growing the SIS sector.
