Cybersecurity Data Analyst

Working as an essential member of a small team, keeping pace with company growth, and maintaining Information Security compliance across Access Group. • You take ownership of your work and can work autonomously if necessary to deliver consistent results. Day-to-day, you will: 1. Data Collection and Processing: • Gather and collet data from various sources that include the IT operational systems, security monitoring tools and data analysis tools. • Reviewing the data collected for accuracy, validity and completeness whilst addressing any cause of errors and inconsistencies in data results. • Coordinate integration of data collection and implement automatic data collection workflows. 2. Statistical Analysis: • Apply various statistical methods to analyse data and identify and establish patterns, correlation and trends • Provide interpretation and detailed comparative analysis based on results of statistical analysis of data. 3. Data Visualisation and Dashboard Development: • Create visualisation images and develop dashboards to communicate results. • Provide insightful information using the dashboards reports. 4. Data Analysis Reporting and Problem Solving: • Prepare regular data analysis reports and various ad hoc reports that maybe required for submission to committees and working groups. • Coordinate with various teams to generate collective summary of statistical reports when required. • Develop data analysis reports that include problem solving recommendations based on results of statistical analysis. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Security Data Analyst or similar role, with experience in deriving operational security metrics, developing reporting dashboards and delivering data analysis projects. • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, visualisation, programming (using Python, R, SQL, Java, etc) • Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Co-Pilot AI tool, etc. • Excellent team coordination and collaboration skills. • Good communication and presentation skills.
