Responsibilities: 1. Networking: Proficient in configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), routing tables, and security groups to ensure secure communication between AWS resources. 2. Load Balancing and Auto Scaling: Skilled in setting up and managing load balancers and auto-scaling groups to ensure high availability and fault tolerance for applications. 3. Compute Resources: Experienced in provisioning and managing compute resources such as EC2 instances, ECS containers, EKS clusters, Lambda functions, and API Gateway endpoints. 4. This includes remediating security findings from AWS Security Hub and AWS Inspector. 6. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advantageous to have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for automating the provisioning and management of AWS resources. 7. Backup and Restoration: Proficient in implementing backup and restoration strategies for critical data and resources, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of system failures or data loss incidents. 8. Monitoring: Skilled in setting up monitoring solutions such as Amazon CloudWatch to monitor the performance, availability, and health of AWS resources in real-time. This includes configuring alarms and notifications to proactively identify and address potential issues. 9. Patching: Experienced in managing patching processes for operating systems, applications, and software components running on AWS resources. This involves staying up-to-date with security patches and applying them in a timely manner to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure system security. 10. Experience with Windows Server and Linux (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux): Proficient in managing and configuring Windows Server and Linux-based systems within AWS environments, including setting up and maintaining services, applications, and security configurations tailored to each platform. 11. Any other duties as instructed by the Reporting Officer or Management. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred. 3. Proven experience in a similar role with hands-on AWS cloud engineering and administration. 4. Strong understanding of cloud networking principles and best practices. 5. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices, including CI/CD pipelines. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment. 7. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
