Position Overview: The General Manager (Finance, HR & Admin) will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational success of Constant Pharmacy. This position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight in the areas of Finance, Human Resources & Administration to ensure the company achieves its key objectives, maintains financial health, and fosters a productive and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of financial operations, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgetary plans and cost-control measures to optimize financial performance.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting results, trends, and forecasts.
- Identify and implement cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities to enhance business performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct cash flow analysis and manage funding requirements to support business operations.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the board of directors.
Human Resources & Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR and Admin functions, including recruitment, performance management, remuneration, benefits, employee relations, and manpower planning.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and foster a high-performance culture.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and drive transformation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster positive relationships between management and employees, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
- Promote employee development and professional growth through training and career development programs.
General Management:
- Collaborate with the COO and other senior leaders to develop and execute the company’s business plans and strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of company documents, assets, and financial resources.
- Exhibit professionalism, discipline, and ethical conduct at all times.
- Perform any other duties as required by the COO or senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial and HR management roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or retail industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational development.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and HR best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
