Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation & Production
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products such as scones, croissants, bombolonis, soft cookies, and other Miqos specialties.
- Ensure consistent quality and adherence to recipes and production standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients using approved techniques and recipes.
2. Quality Control
- Monitor the quality of raw ingredients and finished products.
- Ensure all items meet the company’s presentation and taste standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all preparation and baking processes.
3. Operational Efficiency
- Manage production schedules to meet daily orders and minimize wastage.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow.
4. Inventory & Stock Management
- Track inventory levels of raw materials and ingredients.
- Communicate with the procurement team for stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients following food safety guidelines.
5. Innovation & Creativity
- Contribute ideas for new product development, including croissant fusion concepts.
- Assist in testing and refining new recipes.
6. Safety & Hygiene
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of the baking area and tools.
- Adhere to company policies regarding health and safety procedures.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other bakers, production staff, and management to achieve production goals.
- Provide support during high-demand periods or special events.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a baker or in a similar role. Fresh graduates with baking certifications are welcome.
2. Education: Diploma or certification in baking, pastry arts, or related field.
3. Skills:
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry-making processes.
- Ability to operate baking equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and products.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Personal Attributes:
