As a Senior Engineer in Operational Excellence, you will manage global projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and optimize plant processes. Your role involves providing mental model training and Six Sigma methodology to internal teams, leading cost-saving projects, and working with production personnel and process owners to enhance operational efficiency.
Our Team
As a Senior Engineer, you will become an integral part of the Operational Excellence team, overseeing the management of projects designed to enhance plant processes through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. This role offers the exciting opportunity to collaborate with numerous stakeholders across the organization, implementing innovative solutions that significantly boost productivity.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for Lean Six Sigma Transformation company vision, strategy and culture
- Lead & coach multiple cross-functional Lean Six Sigma initiatives ensuring alignment with busine ss strategy
- Continuously drive Process Improvements and process re-engineering for various projects in line with business requirements.
- Train and coach process owners in the use of process improvement tools and the Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Conduct data analysis and process mapping to identify root causes of inefficiencies, defects, and noncompliance, and develop data-driven solutions
- Facilitate adoption of Lean Six Sigma methodologies/framework and check effectiveness of deployment at shop floor, reviews & closure status of non-conformances from reviews, root cause analysis & implementation of corrective & preventive actions
- Drive the implementation of best practices and standardization across departments and functions, ensuring consistent and efficient processes
- Lead and mentor a team of operational excellence professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure their professional growth and development
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Educational & Experience
- Strong working experience in Lean Six Sigma / or being a project leader
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) is preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex operational challenges
- Strong knowledge and application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, DMAIC, process improvement tools and techniques
- GLSS Engineer (Green Belt)
- Fluent English language skills
