The Accounting Trainee will assist the Finance/Accounting team in day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, and reporting tasks. Key Responsibilities: -Bookkeeping and Financial Transactions Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in the accounting system. -Maintain and update general ledger accounts. -Assist in preparing journal entries and ensuring accurate documentation. -Accounts Payable and Receivable Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and timely. -Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist in accounts receivable collection. -Support vendor and customer account reconciliation. -Financial Reporting and Analysis Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports. -Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies. -Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. -Compliance and Audit Support Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. -Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation for external and internal audits. -Tax and Regulatory Filings Support the team in preparing tax returns and ensuring timely submission. -Assist in maintaining accurate records for compliance with tax regulations. -Learning and Development Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance accounting knowledge. Stay updated on industry standards, accounting principles, and best practices.
