The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the complete set of accounts and overseeing month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Key duties include preparing and reviewing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and addressing any outstanding financial matters.

The role entails assisting in the preparation of audited financial statements, coordinating with external auditors, and supporting the development of annual budgets and forecasts in line with organisational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, delivering accurate and actionable commercial insights to drive informed decision-making.

* Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management.

* Develop and enhance management reports on financial performance, including but not limited to budget, cashflow, forecast projections, management accounts including profit & loss a/c and balance sheet, schedules to financial reports, stock & performance reports.

* Assist in financial automation, ERP system upgrades, and process standardization.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, adhering to processes established by management.

* Conduct financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.

* Manage day-to-day finance operations to support business growth and operational requirements.

* Assist in setting financial policies and SOPs for internal controls.

* Assist in the effective management of the company's cash flow and financial resources, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all banking arrangements and related transactions.

* Track and monitor departmental spending, financial KPis, and cost-saving initiatives.

* Work efficiently to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

* Collaborate with other departments to gather information and provide accurate, valid, and complete data using appropriate tools and methods.

Job Requirements:

* Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 4 to 5 years' relevant experience.

* Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

* Hands-on experience with cash flow management, working capital optimization, and cost control

* Expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, and management reporting.

* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).

* Prior working experience in Retail / F&B is a bonus.

* Experienced in working with different accounting systems and with system implementation project experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
