Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, order fulfillment, and dispatching goods.
  • Optimize the warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and fulfillment activities at distribution centers.

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory control systems to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Conduct monthly stock takes and regularly reconcile any variances.
  • Maintain inventory levels that align with business demands while preventing overstocking or stockouts.

Distribution Center Oversight:

  • Manage distribution center operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to stores without delays.
  • Coordinate with transport providers to establish efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions; monitor delivery performance and promptly address any issues.
  • Oversee the fulfillment process to guarantee accurate and timely order deliveries.

Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Collaborate with procurement to align warehouse and logistics activities with broader business objectives.
  • Plan and schedule deliveries and pickups to optimize routes and reduce transportation costs.

Team Management and Development:

  • Supervise warehouse and logistics staff to improve productivity and morale.
  • Establish clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory levels, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices in warehouse and logistics management.

Key Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a retail or FMCG setting.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Leadership skills with the capability to manage teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with distribution center operations and transportation regulations.
  • This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM180,000.00 - RM216,000.00 per year
