Position Overview:

The Valuation cum Research Manager will lead valuation and market research initiatives, providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires a seasoned professional with a background in valuation, market studies, and project assessment. The candidate will manage two subordinates and collaborate closely with senior management, delivering presentations and data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Valuation & Project Assessment:

  • Conduct comprehensive valuations for diverse property types.
  • Prepare detailed project assessment reports to support investment and strategic decisions.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Perform in-depth market studies, analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Utilize statistical tools to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

Reporting & Presentation:

  • Develop high-quality reports and dashboards summarizing research findings.
  • Present findings effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor two subordinates, ensuring quality output and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Strategic Contribution:

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to influence business strategies.
  • Align research activities with organizational goals and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-4 years in valuation, market research, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Project Skills: Strong ability to prepare project assessment reports and conduct complex market studies.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting to senior management.

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience as a valuer.
  • Strong project assessment and market research capabilities.
  • Leadership experience or potential to manage a small team.
  • Availability to meet demanding project timelines beyond regular hours when needed.

Recommended To Have:

  • Registered valuer license (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Advanced data visualization or analytical tools knowledge.
  • Incentives: Competitive salary with a significant incentive structure based on performance.
  • Work Environment: 5-day workweek with expectations of flexibility to accommodate project demands.
