Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to oversee and manage our warehouse operations and distribution network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient storage, handling and distribution of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels, cost efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity and inventory management.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness and service levels.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Manage transportation and distribution schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better workflow and cost savings.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
  • Familiarity with logistics, transportation and supply chain principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards in warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in lean warehousing or process optimization techniques.
  • Certifications in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management are an advantage.
  • Experience in managing automated or technology-driven warehouse operations.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
