JOB DESCRIPTION FOR HANDYMAN VACANCY
Responsibilities
1. Contribute day-to-day operation and maintenance of the building by attending to all general maintenance and operation issues with specific emphasis on Electrical System, Plumbing System (water supply and sewerage), Fire Protection System, Building Control System, Basic Carpentry and Air Conditional & Mechanical ventilation system as well as other Building related matters.
2. Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of general building which includes of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks including troubleshooting works.
3. Responsible to liaise with and the supervision of suppliers/vendors/contractors for all related servicing/maintenance/repairing and other activities assigned to you from time to time.
4. Pleasant personality, independent, resourceful, self-motivated, hardworking and able to work as a team. Prepare to work extra time as requested by management.
5. Willing to work on a shift basis (if required).
6. Liaise with the team members and carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements
7. Perform other related duties as assigned including below:
- Plumbing
- Electrical & Wiring
- Civil & Infrastructure
- Building Repair
- Building Maintenance
Requirements
1. Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Professional Certificate/Diploma or equivalent;
2. At least 1 year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
6. Ability to work in confined spaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
