Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (e.g., Culinary Arts, Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field).
- Strong interest in kitchen operations, foodservice design, and workflow optimization.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software or other design tools (preferred, but not required).
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience in design or the foodservice industry (preferred, but not required).
Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in designing and planning kitchen layouts for foodservice clients, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety.
- Support the preparation of CAD drawings, 3D models, and visual concepts for kitchen spaces.
- Conduct research on the latest kitchen equipment and trends to improve design solutions.
- Help assess current kitchen operations and make recommendations for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and architects to understand their needs and integrate them into the design.
- Assist in managing project timelines and coordinating with suppliers for equipment selection.
- Help compile and organize documentation for client presentations and proposals.
- Support the development of cost estimates and budgets for kitchen design projects.
- Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of kitchen design implementations and gather feedback from users.
