Objectives of this role

The incumbent will work with Head of Department (HOD) & Division Head and other HOD and Division Head to manage, review, analyze and identify business model, services, processes, requirement and enhancement, changes that leads to business process improvements, comply to statutory requirement. Tracking of IT spending budget and cost control.

Duties:

  • To ensure optimum service level to customer (internal users) are aligned in accordance with the service level defined in the severity level reporting
  • To ensure development of clear scope of requirement documentation (BRD) with process for reviewed and signoff by stakeholders
  • To manage the product development, align to business requirement and in terms of quality, functionality.
  • To perform market assessments and translate business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa.
  • To involve and assist the exploration of business with new technology and innovative process with automation of processes, repetitive tasks, products.
  • Translate customer/users’ needs/requirements into application solutions.
  • To develop project scope and timeline
  • Analyze and interpret user requirements, user stories, use cases, and system architecture documents
  • Participate in design and testing activities, review code, and participate in system implementations
  • Assist with maintaining and documenting systems
  • Perform data validation checks
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, policies, and procedures
  • Diligence in reviewing data to be input to system
  • Identify, quantify, and document business process improvements
  • Identify, analyze, and document user interface issues
  • Create user documentation including process flows, roles and responsibilities, and use cases
  • Train users on system processes and application
  • Identify and resolve system-specific issues through research and analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze new technologies and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer information, needs, and existing processes
  • Develop and communicate technical requirements, including design, build, and test plans
  • Identify, validate, and mitigate technology risks
  • Develop innovative, efficient, effective, and scalable solutions
  • Evaluate usability and scalability of solutions
  • Work with business stakeholders and IT to implement changes
  • Design, document, test, and implement software solutions
  • Execute and support infrastructure audits and reviews
  • Track and report on project metrics
  • Develop, maintain, and document project plans
  • Manage, document, and support project schedules

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education Background : Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Technology/Business Information System or Business or Marketing
  • Experience: 0-3 years in Application Support and/or System Implementation knowledge
  • Skills: Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint

  • Strong data gathering and analysis skills
  • Responsible, dependable, and having leadership traits.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin & English (Listen, Speak, Read, and Write)

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
