Accounts Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
·- Process invoices and purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
·- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly.
·- Monitor and verify expense claims, ensuring they comply with company policies.
·- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions such as data entry.
·- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
·- Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Key Requirements:
·- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualifications).
·- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
·- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, MYOB, or similar platforms) is preferred.
·- Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, SST, E-invoice etc.).
·- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
·- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with all levels of the organization.
·- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
·- Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
