The Opportunity

  • Development, management and delivery of end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for the Group Procurement team, considering Toll Group and Business Unit priorities.
  • Management of procurement activities through active collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity, and transparency requirements are addressed.
  • Negotiation, implementation and ongoing management of supplier arrangements ensuring any obligations and requirements agreed in commercial arrangements are being measured and managed driving maximum value for Toll.
  • Support Category Manager to develop and deliver category strategies.
  • Identification of opportunities and delivery of value for indirect categories.
  • Work closely the Data Analytics and Operational Excellence teams to ensure compliance with Toll processes and policies and where appropriate drive improvement in processes.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar procurement role. Indirects procurement experience is highly desirable.
  • Negotiation, sourcing, contracts and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to credibly engage with stakeholders at all levels (both internal and external) and work within a matrixed, global environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate commercial strategies and execute end to end.
  • Undergraduate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline preferred (e.g. B. Bus).
  • Professional membership of relevant associations preferred (e.g. CIPS).
