The Opportunity
  • Integration Development: Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using various tools like Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services, and APIs.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work with HR, IT, and other business units to gather integration requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain existing integrations, optimizing and scaling as necessary.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze configuration issues, create action plans, and collaborate with the business to resolve them.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and workflows.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure integrations meet data protection, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Testing: Conduct rigorous testing (unit, system, and user acceptance) to ensure quality delivery.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a Workday Integration Specialist with expertise in Workday HCM, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of XML/XSLT transformations and Workday reporting tools (calculated fields, custom reports).
  • Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent troubleshooting, analytical skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Certification & Qualifications: Workday certification in integrations and a relevant undergraduate degree (Master’s preferred).
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with cloud/middleware technologies (MuleSoft, AWS, Dell Boomi) and knowledge of Australian payroll systems.
  • Special Conditions: Ability to work across multiple time zones as required.
