Systems and Database Coordinator
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Systems and Database Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on managing customer data, coordinating system operations, and supporting marketing activities.
This position is suited for someone with basic IT technical & business analytical skills and a strong ability to multitask, without requiring advanced IT or coding expertise.
Responsibilities:
Database Management:
1. Collect and organize customer data through events, contests, and POS systems.
2. Clean and validate data using Excel to ensure accuracy and remove duplicates.
3. Maintain an organized database in Google Drive and provide reports.
4. Data-mining abolity using suitable apps.
Marketing Campaign Support:
5. Use the customer database to send newsletters and promotional updates via email and WhatsApp (using tools or manually).
6. Work with the marketing team to plan and execute monthly events and promotional campaigns.
7. Complaint management (apologize and give sorry voucher)
8. Membership management
System Coordination:
9. Act as the main contact for third-party system providers, ensuring smooth operation and timely renewals.
10. Manage the company’s e-commerce website using a user-friendly platform (basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge for small customizations is helpful but not mandatory as template is there no need for major coding).
11. Collaborate with designers to ensure marketing materials fit website requirements.
Mart Supervision and Operations:
12. Oversee on-site mart operations, including SOP compliance, promotional execution, stock management, and vendor coordination.
13. Supervise mart staff and manage petty cash for mart-related and event expenses.
Event Support:
14. Assist in planning and organizing events, including factory visits, and prepare basic reports afterward. 13. Participate in on-site and off-site events with the marketing team when required.
15. Collect and share feedback from visitors or customers.
Administrative Support:
16. Train interns in database and system-related and other tasks.
17. Manage basic administrative tasks, such as form submissions and responding to work-related inquiries via WhatsApp, Email, Message platform, etc
Requirements:
1. Diploma Business & Marketing & IT .
2. Proficiency in Excel for data organization and filtering.
3. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus but not mandatory.
4. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (experience with Easy store is an advantage).
5. Analytical skills with good organizational and multitasking skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external vendors.
7. A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with customer data or in a marketing support role.
- Familiarity with simple system management and basic technical troubleshooting (most of the time liaising with 3rd party support).
- Basic understanding of marketing and sales event planning.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From RM2,150.00 per month
