Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Developer (L3, 6-9 years) for the Core Banking - Deposits team. The role involves working on the AS/400, Mainframe, and OPEN platforms, with a strong focus on RPG and CLP programming languages. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with AS400/DB2, developing and maintaining core banking deposit systems, ensuring optimal performance and integration with the database. The role requires deep expertise in Core Banking systems, particularly in Deposits, and a thorough understanding of AS400 technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Core Banking Deposit systems on AS/400 and Mainframe platforms.

  • Develop and optimize RPG and CLP programs for efficient processing and data management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance core banking functionality and ensure system integration.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AS400/DB2 environments to ensure smooth banking operations.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from analysis to implementation.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Extensive experience with RPG and CLP programming languages.
  • Strong experience with AS400/DB2 platform and database management.
  • Expertise in Core Banking systems, especially Deposits modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS/400 operating system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain complex banking applications.


Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Mainframe platforms and technologies.
  • Experience with OPEN banking systems or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of integration techniques between Core Banking and other enterprise systems.


Qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Core Banking and Deposits.
  • Proven expertise in RPG, CLP, and AS400/DB2 environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
