Flexo Printing Operator

Duties & Responsibilities:- • Flexographic (abbreviated to flexo) printing is a form of rotary printing in which quick-drying inks are transferred from flexible printing plates to a substrate. • Handle and operate flexographic printing press machines that can print on all sorts of surfaces, such as fabrics, paper, and plastic bags. • Prepare the press for printing, including filling ink and calibrating the machine and feeding the textiles or paper into the machine. • Troubleshooting any issues that might arise during printing. • Accurately read job printing orders and follow their specifications with attention to detail. • Perform large-scale printing of text and images on a variety of materials such as paper and plastic. • Must be quick to change the print designs. • Handle adjustment of the repeat length of the printed pattern. • Manage the speed of the production process which, once the initial setup is completed, is fully automated. • Manage flexo printing machine of two-phase process: prepress and printing. Job Requirement & Qualification:- • Possess SPM, certificate or diploma in printing. • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in the manufacturing industry with flexography printing press equipment is a must. • Working experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage • Strong physical stamina is good to have to lift heavy products. • Able to work in Melaka.
