Account Executive - Collection

The position will have direct interaction with our customers, sales professionals, and finance professionals. This role is process oriented, ensuring our collection escalation process is followed. We expect this individual to have a continuous improvement mindset and to advocate this culture throughout the organization. At FG we run towards problems and opportunities to drive business results. This position is responsible for ensuring receivables are collected in an efficient manner as well as looking into process improvement methods to streamline the collection process.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Daily invoicing generate & cash application on the local ERP system.
• Highlight and/or escalate aged open items to internal and external stakeholders through calls and emails.
• Perform in-depth analysis on customer payment behaviors and review periodically with the team lead if necessary.
• Review and release credit hold by adhering to company collections policy.
• Apply collections strategies to optimize collections from outstanding accounts receivable.
• Prepare and send reminders for overdue accounts. This shall include preparation of reminders for records and feedback purposes, and maintenance of records and systematic filing of documents.
• Resolve delinquent accounts in an ethically responsible manner by mitigating losses and maximizing receivable income.
• Working on cash application to allocate payment from customers timely and accurately.
• Conduct account reconciliation if necessary & finalizing settlement negotiations to accomplish mutual satisfaction of company and customer.
• Drives process improvements including working with business partners and other departments to develop and test reporting mechanisms that will help run the business.
• Perform other ad-hoc task as and when required
