Job Summary:

The E-commerce Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s online store. This role involves overseeing product listings, optimizing the user experience, driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. The E-commerce Executive will also monitor key performance metrics to help increase online revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management:
    • Create, update, and optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.).
    • Ensure that product descriptions, images, prices, and inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging product content (SEO-friendly descriptions, high-quality images, and videos).
  • Sales & Revenue Optimization:
    • Monitor online sales trends and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
    • Manage product promotions, discounts, and pricing strategies to boost sales.
    • Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility of products on e-commerce platforms.
  • Customer Service:
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly via email, chat, or phone.
    • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
    • Monitor customer reviews and feedback to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Oversee the processing and timely dispatch of customer orders.
    • Work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and inventory management.
    • Track shipments and provide customers with timely updates on their orders.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:
    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers or warehouses to ensure product availability.
    • Implement inventory control measures to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
    • Keep track of product performance to determine which items need reordering or discontinuation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze sales, traffic, and customer behavior data using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or platform-specific reports.
    • Provide regular performance reports on sales, customer engagement, and website performance.
    • Use insights to recommend improvements and new strategies to enhance the user experience and increase conversions.
  • Marketing & Campaigns:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media promotions, and paid ads (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
    • Ensure that all promotional campaigns are reflected accurately on the e-commerce website and product listings.
