Hair Wash Attendant

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and attentive Hair Wash Specialist to join our team. The Hair Wash Specialist will be responsible for providing clients with a relaxing and thorough hair washing experience. This includes shampooing, conditioning, massaging the scalp, and ensuring that clients feel comfortable during their service. The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge of hair care products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Service: o Greet clients upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. o Assist clients in selecting the right shampoo and conditioner based on their hair type. o Provide a relaxing and comfortable hair wash experience, including scalp massages. o Follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. o Ensure clients feel relaxed and at ease throughout the service. 2. Hair Care Knowledge: o Stay updated on the latest hair care products and treatments. o Recommend products to clients for home care based on their hair type and needs. o Provide basic advice on hair health and maintenance. 3. Equipment Maintenance: o Ensure all hair washing stations are clean and well-maintained. o Take proper care of all tools and equipment, including sinks, towels, and shampoos. o Replenish products as needed. 4. Collaboration: o Work alongside hairstylists and other salon staff to ensure a smooth customer experience. o Follow instructions from stylists regarding specific hair care needs for clients. 5. Customer Satisfaction: o Ensure clients' hair is thoroughly washed, conditioned, and ready for styling. o Address any client concerns or preferences during the hair-washing process. o Promote a relaxing environment through excellent customer service. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 3 years working experience in a salon or spa setting preferred. • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. • Knowledge of hair care products, shampoos, and conditioners. • Ability to handle clients’ requests and preferences with professionalism. • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. • Ability to stand for extended periods and work with water. Working Conditions: • Work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. • Must adhere to the salon’s uniform and grooming standards.
