Position: Operations Specialist (Process Chemical) Company Industry: Oil & Gas Working Hours: Mon – Fri (8:30AM-5:30PM) Working Location: Menara Tan & Tan, WP, 207, Jln Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur Working Duration: 12 Months Contract with PERSOLKELLY Remuneration: Salary RM5,000 to RM7,000 (Based on experience & qualification) statutory contribution & leave entitlement. Keywords: Downstream, Process Chemical, Petrochemical Offshore Allowance (if required): RM250/ Day WHO CAN APPLY? • Have a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, or equivalent • Demonstrate good experience (at least 5 years of experience) in Upstream Production Chemicals Application • Have direct experience in Upstream Oil & Gas industry • Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others • Have an in-depth knowledge of process optimization and production chemistry preferably in deep water application • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions • Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office, PowerPoint and need to be able to understand client’s Production Software DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills. • Contemporary work-life balance policies and wellbeing activities Role Summary: As an Operations Specialist, you will provide ad-hoc requirement for specialty studies include flow assurance and production chemistry related study. You will provide services to manage, maintain, and inspect chemical tanks, frame, pumps, and chemical containers. Essential Responsibilities: • Overseeing Field Chemists for the Account, Indirect upselling on Accounts, and providing Customer Service. • Providing troubleshooting and upstream production chemistry technical support to offshore production chemical application, field trial, and bottle testing. • Suggesting improvements in products, chemical application, processes and procedures. • Working together with people from the business unit. • Standardizing project coordination with internal assembly and customers. • Working on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks with some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
