Lecturer – Early Childhood Education(Sungai Petani)

Responsibilities • Undertake teaching related duties such as preparation of materials, conduct lectures/tutor, student consultations, assessment based on the approved curriculum • Ensuring Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) achieved. • Participating in Curriculum Committee to develop new courses or to review current courses as part of internal continual quality improvements. • Preparation of course files (CRF) or other related documents based on the MQA requirements. • Monitoring assessment of students such as course work, project work, examinations and maintain up-to-date and accurate records or student progress and achievement. • Evaluating students in the workplace during their industrial training. • Providing ample periods for counselling and mentoring students in matters related to academic success, life goals and spiritual development. • Participate in the moderation exercises for the setting and marking of exam papers. • Participating in program team activities and act as leaders of a course when needed. • Perform administrative duties assigned by the Management. Requirements • Possess at least a Degree in Early Childhood Education. • With a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. • Have at least 1 to 2 years of tertiary Education teaching experience. • Candidates with relevant job experience will have an added advantage. • Possesses good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Able to meet deadlines when required
