The Integrated Marketing Team is a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives across various platforms and media channels. From developing comprehensive marketing campaigns for the streaming platform to creating impactful campaigns for our theatrical releases, the team works together to elevate the brands under the Disney umbrella and connect with audiences locally.

This role provides a unique opportunity for marketing professionals to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of entertainment marketing and be exposed to various aspects of integrated marketing. The marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of marketing and exhibitor campaigns.

Areas of Responsibility


  • The Specialist will be supporting the Studio Lead in executing brand and content marketing strategies in order to drive awareness and consideration for our content releases from its theatrical release until it’s streaming release window. He/She needs to understand the target consumers, then help identify marketing trends and unique ideas to improve overall marketing objectives.
  • The Specialist will be working closely with Disney SEA’s local and regional brand and content marketing teams to ensure that marketing and promotional assets are rolled our properly in a timely and cost-efficient manner. He/She will also be working closely with cinema exhibitors to create engaging and exciting initiatives and promotions. Below are the areas of responsibility


Campaign Execution Support


  • Prepare market briefing documents
  • Review agency media plans
  • Work closely with the media agency to localise marketing assets according to material specification needed for local media placements
  • Support on-ground executions


Exhibitor Marketing Support


  • Negotiation and secure digital, social, and PR support from exhibition to help drive promotions of a theatrical release
  • Support the team in identifying strategies and tactics to support exhibitor’s social media campaigns
  • Manage execution of special in cinema displays and takeovers
  • Day-to-day liaison with exhibition partners


Administrative Support


  • Coordinate invoice processing and records management


Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years comprehensive and demonstrable experience in building direct-to-consumer brands, in consumer technology, leading consumer brands, or similar multinational company
  • Strong experience in developing and managing brand marketing campaigns with execution experience across the marketing mix
  • Collaborative team player comfortable with complex, cross-functional projects across teams and leagues
  • A self-starter capable of working independently but also as part of a team
  • A strong communicator with positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines
  • Meticulous and commitment to accuracy
  • Passion for the digital media and entertainment space
  • Fluent written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia
