ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an executive to be a member of the team, assisting the SAP digitalization in Quality Compliance & Assurance (QC&A), serves as Deputy Document Controller, PRP lead, maintain regulatory database, verify labels, coordinate registration documents, administer raw materials, manage KPI reports.

This role is a 1-year contract role based in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality System

  • Collect data from business units under the company management, consolidate and analyze performance, work with the supply chain department on KPI performance-related matters, prepare monthly reporting decks for Asahi Holdings SEA (AHSEA) management, and consolidate KPI performances for submission to Asahi Global Holdings Quality department.
  • Responsible to support in data entry to SAP at project stage, and SAP system maintenance relevant to Group QC&A after established.
  • Manage document registration, master list maintenance, distribution, and approval processes to ensure proper documentation.
  • Execute the Product Review Program (PRP) to monitor product performance and ensure quality and food safety. Engage with participating regional plants to ensure sample submission and result reporting. Follow up with plant personnel when PRP results show deviations, ensuring rectifications to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Assess new raw and packaging material approvals for compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document meeting minutes related to quality subjects to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Regulatory Affairs

  • Gather, consolidate, and analyze food regulatory information within assigned regions and communicate findings within AHSEA Group of Companies.
  • Perform monthly updates from respective regions relevant to AHSEA Group of Companies’ products.
  • Check and verify product label artwork for own brand products according to AHSEA procedures.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and compile necessary documents for product registration.

Any other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of Quality Compliance and Assurance experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct audits and inspections
