Job Summary

This role is essential in handling end to end sourcing process and monitoring compliance both internal and with external party and providing expert advice to procurement team members, business stakeholders and support functions on all aspects of procurement. This includes ongoing development and enhancement of a sourcing and contract management, governance and sustainable procurement framework and procedures to achieve best-in-class risk management, compliance and documentation.

Job Description
  • Manage end to end sourcing process for IT and Non-IT purchases in compliance to established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct commercial analysis of financial proposal including vendors financial health status.
  • Establish annual contract management strategy.
  • Consistently review and update the policies and processes to ensure controls are in place to protect the company’s best interest from financial, reputational & legal aspects.
  • Point of reference for procurement related policies and processes.
  • Organize activities or roadshow to BPMB’s internal stakeholders on policies and processes and external stakeholders on sustainable procurement.
  • Conduct spend analysis – overall annual procurement spend and present to relevant committees with proposed action plan for cost optimization.

Job Requirement
  • Degree in Management Business Administration/Supply Chain Management or any other relevant field.
  • Added advantage for candidates with Professional Certification in Procurement such as Certified Procurement Professional from Malaysian Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (MIPMM).
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in managerial position managing end to end sourcing activities for Service Industry such as Financial/Insurance/Telecommunication/Hospitality Industry.
  • Candidates must have a minimum 3 years of experience in IT sourcing.
  • Experience in reviewing policies and procedures, stakeholder management, spend analysis, reviewing commercial terms of procurement contracts and eProcurement system is preferred.
