Job Description:
- Responsible for the development of Business Applications and any other applications as assigned.
- Familiar with applications used by MSIG Malaysia including Polisy400 and related integrated applications.
- Maintain helicopter view of overall operations.
- Manage business owners and users expectations.
- Conduct resource planning and recruitment including logistics and administration.
- Ensure the reporting staff on work allocation and priorities including project resource requirements are manage.
- Ensure company’s policies and standards including IT procedures/WI is adhered.
- Drive and evaluate alternative solutions/functionalities with various teams to align with company direction/business.
- Ensure business requirements and other implications are met by having efficient and effective solution through comprehensive analysis, design and testing including the necessary support.
- Collaborate with various teams on systems impacts and timelines including testing and implementation.
- Monitor and provide updates on management report including escalation to management as required.
- Manage vendor to meet company expectations.
- Identify continuous improvement on existing or new IT quality objectives and procedures/WI. To review on yearly basis.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Degree/Diploma holder preferably in computer-related disciplines.
- At least 10 years relevant experience in system analysis and programming and at least 6 years in people management.
- Project and Vendor Management is an advantage.
- Insurance operational exposure is an advantage.
- Well versed in BPM area - Typescript, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Java.
- Polisy400 Application knowledge.
- Business Process Flow and Analysis skills.
- Leadership skills.
