RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee plant operations, maintenance, and production related activities and be involved in plant expansion project.
  • Maximize profitability of the factory by ensuring factory is running at maximum efficiency to the best of engineering practices.
  • Responsible on adjusting the output of each product line to ensure profitability of the factory is maximised according to sales budget.
  • Ensure the implementation of business strategies being executed as planned.
  • Manage the plant health through self-developed Monitoring Program (MP) to avoid unnecessary production downtime and maintain the plant efficiency to the best of engineering practices.
  • Develop the key performance goals for functions and monitor accordingly.
  • Ensure the overall products’ quality and fulfil customers’ requirements. Attend to CAR along with respective personnel.
  • Propose and execute Continuous Improvement Projects which approved by the Management.
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are updated, followed, enforced, and comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities (DOSH, CIDB, BOMBA, local municipal council, etc) and work closely with the project management team for closure of any issue raised by relevant authorities.
  • Identify competency gaps for subordinate and plan necessary training.
  • Prepare and present department’s report to Management in weekly basis.
  • Adhere to and in compliance with the mandatory rules, regulations, codes, guidelines, and standards applicable to the company’s occupational health, safety, and environmental management system.
  • Any other duties from time to time assigned by the Superior & the Management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must possess at least a Professional Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, or equivalent.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8 - 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • 5S and LEAN advocate.
  • Meticulous and data centric in daily work.
  • Good in systems and processes.
  • Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Good leadership & interpersonal skills.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Mahkota, Banting.
