Product & Channel Development

  • Involve in the strategic planning of road maps for product & channel for consumer deposits in terms of propositions, business case, channels, platforms, sales and delivery etc.
  • Originate new deposit related products & CVP both via digital and traditional channels.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify customer needs and to map customer journey if applicable.
  • Identify operational, IT, regulatory & legal compliance risks of the initiatives and proactively propose measures to mitigate the risks for approvals prior to initiatives launches at internal risk governance platforms.
  • Lead and manage new product and channel development life cycle from conceptualization, proposals to getting internal and approvals of the initiatives.
  • Lead and manage project timelines, system enhancement scope, UAT and resource planning, deployment/launch with stakeholders.
  • Accountable for the performance and stability of the new products, channels and platforms with robust plans for functional and production testing before launches.
  • Accountable for the business/ financials and key performance matrices of the initiatives as launch and lead the post-mortem updates of the initiatives at key platforms to senior management.

Building on existing Capabilities/ Innovations/ Platforms

Expand product service delivery into digital channels and migrate branch and contact centre traffic to the self-service channels.

Compliance, Process and Reporting

  • Ensure timely submission of internal/external regulatory reporting.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies/card schemes for new any requests/queries.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that products/processes adhere to both internal and external compliance.
  • Work on regulatory/card scheme projects including system enhancement/maintenance.
  • Create and/or maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other internal documents when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in consumer banking, mainly in deposits products
  • Relevant analytics, financials and process knowledge
  • Experience in product and project development
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in driving complex initiatives that run across various functions and domains
  • Possess system and operational knowledge of consumer banking products
  • Good knowledge of industry trend, competition pricing, products and offering
  • Good knowledge of Regulatory frameworks governing consumer deposits and lending business
  • Like using technologies to drive innovations and changes
  • Good people skills
