We are looking for an energetic and ambitious HR Generalist to join our growing team. The HR

Generalist plays a key role in bringing to life the Management Team’s vision for its people and

creating a dynamic work environment that people are excited to be a part of.

General

  • Understanding evolving business needs and ensuring HR is well-placed to exceed customer "expectations"
  • Working effectively across the organization to ensure HR is respected as a key strategic partner in each function
  • Using new technologies to improve efficiencies and capabilities within the organization
  • Continuous review of performance and future needs to ensure team scales efficiently and effectively

Performance & Development Activities

  • Partner with functions to understand their goals, needs, challenges and how HR can help address these.
  • Build and execute a framework for people development within the organization to ensure employees perform at optimal levels and can realise their career goals at Ora

Recruiting Activities

  • Understand the job scope of the role, the needs of the hiring manager and the desired traits sought in a candidate
  • Execute the hiring plan in an accelerated fashion
  • Own onboarding activities to ensure new recruits ease into their new environment

Administration

  • Ensure payroll information is kept up to date and employees are paid on time
  • Devise and manage annual/mid-year review as well as onboarding/orientation processes
  • Research and recommend best-in-class employee insurance programs as well as other benefit programs
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Organizational Behaviour, Psychology or Commerce.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
