The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a digital-first, fully integrated marketing strategy for Malaysia and Singapore. The goal is to increase brand awareness, drive sales, acquire new customers, and build customer loyalty while aligning with regional and global marketing strategies. The role also includes overseeing visual merchandising and ensuring seamless retail and digital marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Execute Marketing Strategy – Lead a multi-channel marketing plan to increase brand awareness and sales.
- Brand & Trade Marketing – Oversee brand positioning, trade promotions, and campaign execution.
- Retail & Visual Merchandising – Implement in-store merchandising strategies to enhance customer experience.
- Market & Consumer Insights – Analyze customer behavior, trends, and competitor activities for strategy optimization.
- Digital & Performance Marketing – Collaborate with digital and e-commerce teams to drive online sales and engagement.
- Marketing Budget & ROI – Manage the annual marketing budget, track KPIs, and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Sales & Customer Engagement – Work closely with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts drive revenue.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with regional teams, wholesalers, and internal departments for consistent brand execution.
- Vendor & Partner Management – Manage external agencies, PR firms, and third-party marketing service providers.
- Team Leadership & Development – Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring growth and high performance.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years in Marketing & Brand Management, preferably in retail or premium brands.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing (CIM certification is a plus).
- Strong Leadership & Team Management skills with experience in mentoring teams.
- Hands-on experience in Retail & E-commerce Marketing, including customer segmentation & omnichannel strategies.
- Expertise in Digital Marketing – Social media strategy, performance marketing, and CRM tools.
- Proven ability to manage budgets & analyze campaign effectiveness.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across functions and seniority levels.
