A Planner & Scheduling Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling and resource management to ensure timely and efficient project execution. He develops and maintain project timelines, coordinate with various cross-functional teams & stakeholders to drive project milestones, and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Developing comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and integrated project schedules for multi-disciplinary projects. Leading schedule forecasting, Earned Value Management (EVM), and extension of time (EOT) analysis for complex infrastructure projects.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Responsible for project planning and scheduling by developing, managing, monitoring and update project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to ensure project is delivered as per commitment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to establish project scope, activities, and deliverables.
- Allocate manning, materials, and equipment efficiently to meet project timelines. Ensure proper utilization of available resources to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Identify potential resource constraints and propose solutions to optimize workflow.
- Identify risks that may impact project schedules and develop contingency plans and proactively address scheduling conflicts and project bottlenecks.
- Work with the project team to implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Act as the main point of contact between project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients regarding scheduling updates and ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide regular reports and presentations on project progress, delays, and forecasted completion dates.
- Monitor critical metrics to evaluate project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate reports on project status, resource utilization, and schedule deviations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a proven experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in construction, manufacturing, energy, or engineering industries.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, or equivalent software.
- Certification holder of Project Management Professional (PMP), Planning &Scheduling (PSP), Primavera P6 are preferred.
- Understanding of project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, or Lean will have added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assess risks, delays, and resource bottlenecks.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and lead scheduling discussions.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and priorities effectively.
