Your Role
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and coordination skills, a deep understanding of IFRS reporting standards, and proficiency in Agile methodologies. This role involves creating detailed project plans, monitoring execution, and driving stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery.
In this role, you will play a key role in:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans with detailed milestones.
- Proactively monitor project execution to identify and address risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and commitments.
Stakeholder Management:
- Drive interactions with various entities and stakeholders to support risk and issue mitigation.
- Develop and implement change management strategies.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders to obtain buy-in for project milestones, commitments, and changes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Produce Management Information (MI) on progress against planned developments.
- Report on project status and testing execution.
- Maintain project documentation using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of related experience.
- Additionally, candidates with Mandarin/Cantonese speaking and writing skills would be an added advantage for this role.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 17 and other IFRS reporting standards.
- Proficiency in creating and managing detailed project plans.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience in managing large-scale regulatory projects.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting principles.
