Job summary – Develop & grow Sun Pharma’s OTC/X brands

The candidate will be responsible to develop & scale up OTC/OTX segment in Malaysia by launching products in different categories. This will be an individual contributor role and would entail the following responsibilities:

GTM & Brand Strategy Development:

  1. To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local brand marketing plans for the brand & manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
  2. Develop detailed GTM strategies across product, price, promotion & distribution channels

Marketing Campaigns & Promotions:

Planning and executing marketing campaigns with strong focus on digital:

  1. Ensure consumer outreach through effective media planning
  2. Execution of inputs for all stakeholders as planned. Measure ROI of each inputs and make further plans accordingly

Retail Visibility:

Support Trade Marketing Team in developing retail visibility elements:

  1. Design/develop POSMs to drive consideration/visibility across general/modern trade outlets
  2. Collaborate effectively with Distributor & Trade marketing team to roll out trade campaigns
  3. Drive retail audits through trade marketing team to assess trade visibility impact

Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with the medical team trade team, agencies and internal stakeholders for executing brand plans in the market
  2. Collaborate effectively with global marketing team for strategy development and joint business plans

NPDs/Innovation Pipeline:

  1. Identify new OTC/OTX products to create a robust pipeline basis insight from market research and market visits.
  2. Co-ordinate with regulatory team to fast track products registration
  3. Packaging Artwork development of new SKU Introductions in markets

Professional Qualifications

  1. MBA in Marketing
  2. Minimum 7 years of relevant marketing, brand management experience in any FMCG/Consumer goods industry
  3. Previous experience of working with communication/digital agencies is required.
  4. Good communication skills, negotiation skills & analytical skills
  5. Proficient in excel. Comfortable in managing large data files & analysing information
  6. Fluency & written knowledge of English is a must
  7. Fluent in Malay
  8. Digital and E-commerce knowledge will be a bonus
