Job summary – Develop & grow Sun Pharma’s OTC/X brands
The candidate will be responsible to develop & scale up OTC/OTX segment in Malaysia by launching products in different categories. This will be an individual contributor role and would entail the following responsibilities:
GTM & Brand Strategy Development:
- To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local brand marketing plans for the brand & manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
- Develop detailed GTM strategies across product, price, promotion & distribution channels
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions:
Planning and executing marketing campaigns with strong focus on digital:
- Ensure consumer outreach through effective media planning
- Execution of inputs for all stakeholders as planned. Measure ROI of each inputs and make further plans accordingly
Retail Visibility:
Support Trade Marketing Team in developing retail visibility elements:
- Design/develop POSMs to drive consideration/visibility across general/modern trade outlets
- Collaborate effectively with Distributor & Trade marketing team to roll out trade campaigns
- Drive retail audits through trade marketing team to assess trade visibility impact
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the medical team trade team, agencies and internal stakeholders for executing brand plans in the market
- Collaborate effectively with global marketing team for strategy development and joint business plans
NPDs/Innovation Pipeline:
- Identify new OTC/OTX products to create a robust pipeline basis insight from market research and market visits.
- Co-ordinate with regulatory team to fast track products registration
- Packaging Artwork development of new SKU Introductions in markets
Professional Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing
- Minimum 7 years of relevant marketing, brand management experience in any FMCG/Consumer goods industry
- Previous experience of working with communication/digital agencies is required.
- Good communication skills, negotiation skills & analytical skills
- Proficient in excel. Comfortable in managing large data files & analysing information
- Fluency & written knowledge of English is a must
- Fluent in Malay
- Digital and E-commerce knowledge will be a bonus
