JOB OBJECTIVE
Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc
Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
Prepare project costing related report on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
DEPARTMENT INTERDEPENDENCY
Proposal & Contracts:
o Assist Proposal Team in sourcing project cost and budget preparation during
tender stage.
o Upon project award, review schedule of payment and invoicing processes, and
set up the system accordingly.
Finance:
o Draft invoice for verification and issuance to client.
o Draft Monthly Work-Done sheet.
Operations:
o Liaise with Project Manager on documentation required for invoicing.
o Coordinate the Project Close-Out worksheet with Project Manager upon the project completion.
Procurement:
o Verify invoices from vendors and subcontractors against approved project budget.
o Update and monitor Approved Project Cost budget in direct liaison with Procurement department.
PRIMARY DUTIES
To read and understand the contract, subcontracts and purchase orders. Identify and extract from the contract with Client clauses related to liquidated damages (LD), invoicing & payments, maximum liability, warranty, schedule of compensation, local content and any other clause related to commercial or has impact to project cost
Draft and Prepare invoices and other billing related documents in accordance to project billing and collate required supporting documents from project team.
Manage project cost budget, forecast cost budget, actual cost and manhours, monitor the actual cost vs budget and re-forecast budget (increase or decrease budget / transfer budget) if required.
Flag delays, non-response, no-show from clients or project team that may cause a negative material impact on project cash flow.
Prepare the Monthly Work done report, Monthly Project Close out report.
Prepare Monthly Project Analysis – projected cost against cost incurred on each project.
Attend handover & kick-off meeting after contract award.
Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients .
Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Superior
Requirement
A diploma or Degree Min 3 to 5 years of experience in OIL AND GAS Industry preferred
