Job Summary:

The A-Level Teacher in Mathematics and Accounting will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students, preparing them for the Cambridge A-Level examinations. This role involves developing comprehensive lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective lectures in A-Level Mathematics and Accounting, adhering to the Cambridge syllabus.

- ⁠Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

- ⁠Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding and engagement.

- ⁠Design, administer, and grade assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

- ⁠Prepare students thoroughly for A-Level examinations through rigorous practice and review sessions.

- ⁠Collaborate with colleagues to review and enhance the Mathematics and Accounting curricula, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge syllabus.

- ⁠Stay updated with the latest developments in the subjects to incorporate relevant information into the curriculum.

- ⁠Provide academic advising and support to students, addressing individual learning needs and challenges.

- ⁠Maintain regular office hours for student consultations and mentorship.

- ⁠Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of educational best practices and subject matter advancements.

- ⁠Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

- ⁠Perform the required administrative duties as and when necessary.

- ⁠Update and facilitate the development of academic resources.

Qualifications:

- Min. Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field to the subject applying for.

- ⁠A Master's degree is preferred.

- Demonstrated expertise in A-Level Mathematics and Accounting curricula.

- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the A-Level or equivalent.

- ⁠Creative in coming up with interactive teaching methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance learning.

- ⁠Passionate in teaching and educating students.
