We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead our sales and strategic development initiatives. As the Head of Sales and Strategic Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and shaping the strategic direction of our consumer electronics and mobile accessories distribution business. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution to ensure sustained business success.

About the Role:

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed performance goals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and partners (principals).
  • Strategic Development: Identify new market opportunities, business models, and partnerships to drive growth. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions. Develop and implement business plans that align with the company’s long-term objectives.
  • Channel Management: Oversee distribution channels and ensure optimal performance across all sales channels. Negotiate and manage agreements with suppliers, vendors, and key accounts. Monitor and optimize pricing strategies and product mix to maximize profitability.
  • Performance Analytics: Set KPIs for the sales team and regularly evaluate performance against targets. Provide detailed sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management. Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve operational efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales operations, marketing and finance teams to ensure alignment of goals. Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales leadership roles, preferably within the consumer electronics distribution industry.
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing sales teams.
