Job Summary
- Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing: Develop, implement, and test comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
- Management of DR Command Center: Lead the DR Command Center during exercises to ensure smooth operations and effective coordination.
- Disaster Recovery Procedures Review & Improvement: Review, refine, and enhance disaster recovery procedures and systems to meet Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and
- Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Recovery System Readiness & Capacity Review: Assess and review system readiness and capacity to ensure that recovery efforts can be executed effectively when needed.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and seamless collaboration within the service management framework.
- Post-Mortem & Reporting: Conduct post-mortem analyses of disaster recovery exercises, prepare test reports, and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage risks associated with both project and operational processes.
- Project Management: Lead projects following PMO processes, including managing procurement and resource allocation.
- Industry Knowledge and Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
- Proven experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management.
- Strong experience in managing Disaster Recovery Command Centers.
- Demonstrated ability to improve disaster recovery procedures and meet RTO and RPO.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in project management, including managing procurement and adhering to PMO processes.
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging technologies.
