Enterprise Business Architect

The Enterprise Business Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining business architecture that supports Maybank's strategic objectives. This role involves leading conversations and initiatives with business stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs, driving business architecture improvements, and ensuring the adaptability of business architecture in response to changing market dynamics.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Candidates with Master’s degree or Chartered titles in Accounting, Banking, Finance or Markets (CA, CB, CFA or CMT) preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in business architecture in a financial services environment with-in leading banks, FinTech’s, Digital banks, insurance companies, leading consulting or IT firms.
• Experience in Target Operating Model development in Digital Sales & Service, Core Banking, Wealth, Payments or Insurance domains (Any 2 of the 5 domains preferred).
• Proven experience in managing large-scale business architecture projects that align with IT initiatives.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficient in TOGAF, or similar architectural frameworks; Certification in TOGAF and BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) preferred.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups.
• Deep understanding of global banking trends, capabilities and challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
