Job Summary :
This role will oversee the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and month-end closing reports. Additionally, responsibilities include managing the annual audit and tax filings, optimizing the capital structure, and handling various financial accounting and operational functions.
Job Descriptions:
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting, consolidation, and management reporting for multiple entities within the Group.
- Lead timely month-end closing reporting, supported by relevant financial analysis.
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular updates to senior management, the board of directors, and key internal/external stakeholders.
- Assist in executing short-term and long-term financial strategies, goals, and plans.
- Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and interest expenses, to optimize the cost of capital.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including variance analysis to assess actual performance against targets.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and corporate governance policies.
- Conduct audits to prevent errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending.
- Organize the annual tax review with tax agents and advise management on the tax implications of business decisions.
- Implement policies and procedures aligned with corporate requirements, ensuring proper asset protection and internal controls.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial and operational risks.
- Liaise with bankers for treasury management.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance, CEO, Group CFO, COO, or other senior executives.
Work Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of accounting and finance experience with at least 3 years of financial control exposure.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate compliances.
- Have a flare for numbers, team player, result-oriented; proactively anticipate impacts of workloads and issues to team timelines.
- Possess good business acumen and strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial valuation skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized in work. Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction or supervision to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with different levels.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with Oracle systems is an advantage.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
