  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About The Role

To assists in safeguarding the organization's information systems by implementing and maintaining security measures. The role supports in monitoring network activities, responding to security incidents, and identifying vulnerabilities. Additionally, acts as an assistant for infrastructure network and server management, ensuring compliance with security policies and contributing to the maintenance and development of secure IT practices that protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

  • Proactively monitor and analyze security alerts and logs.
  • Respond to and document security incidents within the agreed timeline

Vulnerability Assessment:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assist in remediating identified risks.
  • Ensure timely closure of identified security vulnerabilities.

Network and Server Assistance:

  • Support the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure and servers.
  • Ensure network and server configurations comply with security standards.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant IT security policies and regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all security processes and protocols.

Security Awareness and Training:

  • Participate in and support security awareness initiatives for staff.
  • Assist in delivering training sessions to promote best security practice.

Perform any other jobs as assigned by Manager and Head, ICT

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or commensurate level of experience/ achievements
  • Fresh graduates with less than 1 year experience

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of network protocols, firewall operations, and security tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM systems) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
