Job Summary

The Site Architect is responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects at the construction site. This role includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and addressing any issues that arise during the construction process. Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage architectural projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure that all architectural aspects of the project are executed according to the design, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Design Coordination:

  • Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are practical and meet project requirements.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and related documents.

Site Supervision:

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Address any on-site issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of construction.
  • Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required specifications.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including any delays or issues encountered.
  • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including site diaries, inspection records, and correspondence.

Communication:

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate and attend project meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
  2. Professional registration with a recognized architectural body is preferred.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in architectural project management, with a focus on site supervision.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects.

Skills:
